Abstract Fluid Art

Fluid art is also known as paint pouring, flow art, liquid art, etc. It is a form of abstract art that uses acrylic paints with a runny (fluid) consistency. The acrylic paints react with each other when combined to make interesting and visually organic shapes and patterns. Fluid acrylics can be used on a variety of materials, such as canvas, wood, plexiglass, glass, ceramic tiles, etc. It can be applied in many different fashions, such as pouring, dripping, swirling, glazing, dipping and many others ways. Fluid art is often sealed with resin or similar products that give it a glass like finish.
